Please read our following terms and conditions of business carefully.

At e-flowersUK.co.uk, which is an on-line, trading name for Buttercups and Daisies want your shopping experience to be as simple and fair as possible. Your guarantee is as follows:

Buttercups and Daisies (e-flowersUK.co.uk) offer a no-quibble guarantee on all purchases, on-line, in-store and via phone orders. This is a full product replacement or money refund guarantee, which does not effect your statutory rights as a consumer in any way.


UK Law

Buttercups and Daisies ( e-flowersUK.co.uk) is a florist based in Manchester Lancashire, England, and is therefore governed by English Law. This is applicable for anybody who can view the website in any other country, and / or has contact with www.e-flowersUK.co.uk and www.e-flowersUK.com by any other means of communications necessary such as electronic mail, fax or post, without necessarily having viewed the website e-flowersUK.co.uk or www.e-flowersUK.com.


Pricing

All product prices quoted exclude standard local/UK delivery. The standard charge for delivery is £5.99 and this is shown clearly on the checkout page.

You can specify if you prefer an am or pm delivery in the 'special instructions' section of your order but we cannot guarantee this.

An additional premium guaranteed delivery charge is available for £8.99. This replaces the £5.99 charge for standard delivery when chosen and guarantees a before 1pm delivery on the chosen delivery date.

This premium service is available up to 8am U.K. time on the day of delivery (excludes peak periods, e.g. Christmas, Valentine, and Mothers Day deliveries) by choosing this option this will be added to your total amount in the shopping system.


Free Local Delivery

In some circumstances beyond our control, it may not be possible to deliver your order, in which case you will be contacted and your order may be cancelled and refunded.

The cut off for free local delivery, which is offered on a next day basis, is usually around 2:30pm, which means that if you order for the next day after that time, you will not be able to select free delivery as your delivery price.


Substitutions

To avoid the problem of substitutions always order 2 days prior to delivery.

Wrapping materials and minor substitutions will be made without notice.

We will phone and e-mail you regarding major substitutions, if you are unavailable we will wait for your instructions until the very last minute, if you have not contacted us in the time frame to deliver your order on the delivery date specified we will act with our best intentions and let you know by e-mail as to what we have altered.


Deliveries

Buttercups and Daisies will endeavour to deliver gifts AM or PM period, but cannot guarantee set delivery times unless you have paid for the premium guarenteed delivery which is given to you as an option before you pay for your goods.

Deliveries are made Monday to Saturday only. We are sorry but Sunday deliveries are not possible; Orders received for Sunday delivery will be executed on the Saturday before (if time allows) or as soon as possible on the Monday.

In the event of no one being at the address supplied, in most cases we will try and leave the gift with a kind neighbour. A calling card will be left telling recipients where the gift is to be collected from. Should the gift have to be returned to the delivery office a calling card will be left with a phone number and address details, the recipient can arrange re-delivery (the re-delivery may be on a later date) or the goods can be collected from the delivery office.


Delivery Methods

Guaranteed Delivery - Deliveries are made throughout the normal working day.

Guaranteed Delivery before 1pm. - This service is available up until 8am on the day of delivery. Not available at peak periods e.g. Christmas & Mothers Day.


Peak Periods:

Christmas

The period 20th of December through to 24th of December. Orders are delivered in time for Christmas and not always on the day requested e.g. a requested delivery on the 24th of December would be delivered between the 20th of December, and 24th December!!

Mothers Day

During the period from the Thursday before Mothers Day weekend, orders will be delivered in time for Mothers Day weekend and not always on the day requested.

e.g. a requested delivery on the Saturday of Mothers Day weekend would be delivered Thursday, Friday or Saturday of Mothers Day week!!


Compensation

As long as we have the correct delivery address, post code and telephone number we guarantee delivery on the date selected,. Should we, or our couriers/ local florists fail to arrive at the delivery address supplied on the day specified the gift will be supplied free of charge. Please read the delivery section in terms and conditions for more information.

If you have paid for a guaranteed before 1pm delivery service and the delivery is made after this time you will receive the additional £3.00 that you paid in comparison to standard delivery of £5.99 and an additional £3.00 as a good will gesture. (Total of £6 compensation).

We now accept all major credit cards and these consist of:

American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Visa Delta, Switch and Solo.

There is no additional charge for paying by Credit Card.
